CARTER, Eric (Naaman)— Passed peacefully away on Friday, February 19th, 2010 in his 81st year at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Job and Bertha, his brothers Hector and Jack and his sisters Malfred and Doris. Leaving to mourn with fond memories, his loving wife Mildred (nee Keane); his children Yvonne (Philip); John (Cindy); Sharon (Harold); Frank (Ruth); Sherry (Craig); Kim (Bernie); Karen (Cecil); 20 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; sisters Grace (Trowbridge), Sophie Carter; Special Friends: Ches and Mary Barrett; and Mike Monahan, also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home 73 Commonwealth Ave, Mount Pearl, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Sunday and Monday. Funeral service to be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Wesley United Church on Patrick Street St. John’s. Interment to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
