SUTHERLAND, THERESA GERTRUDE (LAWLOR) - The death of Theresa Gertrude (Lawlor) Sutherland of Mount Saint Joseph Nursing Home and formerly of Red Bank, NB, widow of John Sutherland occurred at the Nursing Home on Thursday, February 18, 2010 at the age of 84. Born in Red Bank, NB, Theresa was the daughter of the late James and Marcella (Burns) Lawlor. Theresa was the proprietor of Sutherland's Store in Red Bank for approximately 30 years. Theresa is survived by: three sisters: Mary Ann
Lawlor and Carmel Hale (Gerald) of Red Bank, NB and Corinne Lawlor of Moncton, NB; three brothers: Ned (Mary) of Timmons, ON, Joseph (Gracie) of
Moncton, NB and Jimmy of Red Bank, NB; and several nieces and nephews. Theresa is redeceased by: two brothers: Francis and Aloysius.
Visitation will be held at Meadows Funeral Home on Saturday from 7-9 PM and Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank on Monday, February 22, 2010 at 11 AM with Father Dan Melanson officiating. Burial will take place in St. Thomas Roman Catholic Cemetery later in the spring. In Theresa's memory a donation may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or Mount Saint Joseph Nursing Home.
