The passing of Kathleen “Katie” Gallagher of Williamsburg, NB, wife of Richard Gullison, occurred on Friday, February 19, 2010 in Tay Creek, NB. Born on August 20, 1961 in Fredericton, NB she was a daughter of Pauline (Dorcas) Brooks and the late Glenn Gallagher. Katie over the past few years has worked as a relief worker with Transition House. She really enjoyed spending time with her family in what ever they were involved in. In recent years she even acted as a tutor for her grandchildren. Katie also enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, especially camping.
In addition to her husband and mother, Katie is survived by her daughters, Jaleena Merritt (Andrew) and Jayme Fraser both of Tay Creek, NB; sons, Rhys and Rorie of Williamsburg, NB; grandchildren, Hunter and Racheal; sisters, Kelly Gallagher (Garth) of Prince William, NB, Kandi Gallagher (Sandy), Kala Gallagher (Paul) both of Cross Creek, NB; nieces and nephews, Ben, Cory, Cameron, Ryan, Kasey, Jessica and Jenna; great nieces and nephews, Nyla, Fallon, Jacob and Amber.
There will be no visitation in keeping with Katie’s wishes. A Funeral Service will be held from St. Peters Presbyterian Church, Stanley, NB on Monday, February 22, 2010 at 3 pm with Rev. Kimberly Barlow officiating. Interment will take place in the Cross Creek Baptist Church Cemetery at a later date.
