RENOUF, Miriam (Suckling) — January 28th, 1917 — December 31st, 2008. Died peacefully at Chancellor Park surrounded by her family and friends. Predeceased by her husband Harry Renouf; daughter Deane Renouf Merdsoy (Bora); sisters Sally Goldsmith and Deane Miller; brother Harry Suckling; niece Andrea Gillies and sister-in-law Mary Lillico. Leaving to mourn; daughters Mary Courage, Priscilla Renouf (Roger Pickavance) and Tia Renouf (Peter Knauss); grandchildren Adam Courage (Debbie Curtis), Noel Courage (Lisa Koh), and Catherine Courage (Ian Gover), Justin Merdsoy (Stacey Cornock), Luke Merdsoy (Alison Pittman), Colin Merdsoy and Laura Merdsoy; great-grandchildren Lauren and Daniel Courage; sister Leila Dumaresq (Philip) and longtime friends George Courage, Miriam El-Gohary and Maire O’Dea. Also leaving to mourn nieces and nephews; Regina O’Keefe and Pinky Duff; John and Lynn Goldsmith; Sydney, Peter and Marc Dumaresq and Daphne Sexton; Robin Grinnell and Geoffrey Everall; Suzanne Mant and Jane Charron. Special thank you to her caregiver of many years Ann Griffiths and to Dr. Kieley and the Chancellor Park staff. Visitation to take place at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Tuesday, January 6th, 2009, at 9:30 a.m. from St. Pius X Church. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
