William Tuff

World War II Veteran and POW, Passed peacefully away at the Caribou Memorial Veterans Pavilion on February 19, 2010. William Tuff aged 89 years. Predeceased by parents, Charles Tuff and Emma Tuff Moores, step-father Matthew Moores, and sister Maude Kane. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories, his loving wife of 38 years, Hilda. Daughters Glenys and Bev(Jeff). Five grandchildren who he adored, Melissa, William, Tyler, Erica and Kayla. Sister-in-laws, Rose, Eileen, Kay and brother-in-law Paddy, special family Wayne (Josephine) and Wally. Special nephew, Dave Jordan. Also, nephews, Reg (Sarah), George, and nieces Shirley (George) and Susan (Hubert), and special great niece Donna (Karl). Special friends Lloyd Noseworthy and Marilyn Parsons, as well as many other nieces, nephews, family and friends. Also we would like to say thank-you to all the staff at the Caribou Memorial Veterans Pavilion for all their help and care. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Saturday, February 20, 2010 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.. Sunday, February 21, 2010 from 10 a.m. - p.m. and Monday, February 22, 2010 from 10-12 Noon. Funeral service will take place at the Barrett’s Chapel on Monday, February 22, 2010 at 2 p.m. Interment will be held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery Field of Honour. No flowers by request.
