It is with great sadness that the family of the late Annie Germaine LaVallee (nee Bennett) announce her passing quietly at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital on Friday, August 22nd, 2014 at the age of 83 years. Annie is preceded in death by her first husband John Nicholas Young and her brother Alex Bennett. Annie is survived by her husband Vincent LaVallee, her children; Dan Benoit in Ontario, Pauline Renouf in St. Georges, John Philip Young (Karen) in Stephenville, Gerald Young in Stephenville, Sharon Woods (Randy) in Fort Nelson BC, Lisa Hulan (Bruce) in St. David’s, Beverley Young in St. Georges, Wanda Kuskie (Steve) in Stephenville and Terry LaVallee (Audrey) in Pasadena, her sisters; Angela Young in Cartyville, Linda Butt and Evelyne Bennett both in St. Georges along with 29 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren family and friends. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home 57 Prince Rupert Drive in Stephenville on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday August 26th 2014 at 10 am from St. Stephen’s Parish on West Street in Stephenville with interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery on Brook Street in Stephenville Crossing.
