Richardson, Janet Ann, 47 of Little Dyke, passed away suddenly on August 21, 2014 at home. Born in Exeter, Ontario, she was the daughter of Frank and Joan Hoyt, Salmon River. She was a loving wife, mom, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She was employed at TD Bank in Truro for twenty eight years. She was an avid knitter, great cook and baker as well as a soccer and hockey mom. Janet enjoyed spending time with her family and enjoyed her time at home at the lake. She is survived by her loving husband, Darrell, children, Tyler, Allison and Arlene; parents, Frank and Joan Hoyt, Salmon River; sisters, Judy (Tom) Buchanan, Brookside, Joanne (Trevor) Forbes, Clifton; parents-in-law, Carol and Stan Richardson, Hilden; brothers-in-law, Marvin (Tracy), Sheldon (Cathy); sister-in-law, Pam (Barry) Cox; many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 26 beginning at 6:00 – 9 p.m. A memorial service will follow on Wednesday, August 27th at 2 p.m. both in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro with Rev. Glenn M. MacLean officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Colchester SPCA, Trinity United Church, Onslow or to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation. Interment at a later date.
