David ‘Dave’ Robertson, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Monday, Aug. 25, 2014, at the age of 67.
Born in North Sydney, N.S., he was the son of the late John and Rita Evans.
Dave will be sadly missed by his common law wife of 18 years, Hughena 'Weinnie' Burke; children, David, Lisa (Eric) Power, Darren; stepchildren, Albert (Linda), Tonya (Dave) McCormick, Carrie (Dave) Mullin; grandchildren, Megan, Olivia, Eric, Ellie-Marie, Evelyn, Emma-Jean, Samantha, Shaelene, Hope, Trent, Kasen; brothers, Robert (Monica) Robertson, John (Laura) Evans and by his sister, Shirley Foster. Dave served for 29 years in the Canadian Armed Forces.
Visitation will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Friday, Aug. 29, 2014 from 1 pm - 3 p.m., with a memorial service celebrating his life at 3 p.m. Interment will be in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
