ROBERTSON, DAVID - 1946 - 2014 - David "Dave" Robertson, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Monday, August 25, 2014, at the age of 67. Born in North Sydney, Nova Scotia he was the son of the late John and Rita Evans. Dave will be sadly missed by his common law wife of 18 years Hughena (Weinnie) Burke, children; David, Lisa (Eric) Power, Darren, step-children; Albert (Linda), Tonya (Dave) McCormick, Carrie (Dave) Mullin, grandchildren; Megan, Olivia, Eric, Ellie-Marie, Evelyn, Emma-Jean, Samantha, Shaelene, Hope, Trent, Kasen, brothers; Robert (Monica) Robertson, John (Laura) Evans, and by his sister Shirley Foster. Dave served for 29 years in the Canadian Armed Forces
Visitation will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Friday, August 29, 2014 from 1:00pm to 3:00 pm, with a memorial service celebrating his life at 3:00pm. Interment will be in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. As your expression of sympathy memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
