Peacefully, at his late residence, on Monday, September 1, 2014, of Everett Jay of Pisquid, age 83 years.
Loving father of Rodney (Lorna) MacEwen, Randy (Tara) MacEwen and Rhonda (Bernie) Feehan. Father-in-law of Dianne MacEwen. Grampy to Craig (Krista), Jenn (Cody), Elizabeth, Connor and Paige. Great-grampy to Lily and Isabelle. Brother of Alice Dunn, Laura Arsenault and Edna Birt and brother-in-law of Iva Jay and Judy Jay.
Predeceased by his wife, Florence MacEwen; sons, Brian, Scott and David; sister, Jean Birt; brothers, Walter, Gordon and Wilfred Jay.
Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Funeral Thursday from St. John’s United Church, Mount Stewart at 10 a.m. Interment in The Peoples Cemetery, Mount Stewart.
