We are heartbroken to say our brother Tony chose to leave us on April 5, 2014 in BC. Mourning are his sister Joan Marie Gatherall (Irvin Crane) and her children Emily, Molly and Maggie Houlihan, his brother Gerry Gatherall (Debbie) and their children Zachary and Kaitlyn, uncles Michael Melvin (Ella Carew) and Peter Melvin (Margie), aunts Wynnann Melvin (John Cross) and Rosemary Gatherall and cousins Al and Michael Gatherall. He also leaves many friends and associates in BC. Tony is recently predeceased by parents John and Joan Gatherall, Grandmother Margaret Melvin, Cousin Andrea Gatherall and Uncle Michael Gatherall and other members of the Gatherall family. Tony lived in and worked from BC for most of the last 20 years. During that time Tony pursued a successful career as a chef; a career that allowed him to travel the world as an executive chef aboard luxury cruise ships, a career he loved, excelled at and earned him great respect and admiration as a culinary artist and leader in his field.
