Born in McNeills Mills on October 12, 1938, son of the late Bayfield and Thelma (Hayden) Murphy. Dear father of Shane, Ellerslie; Dale, Missouri; Paul, Maine; Vaughn (Carolyn), Maine; stepfather of William (Maunda) Madairos, Derry, N.H.; Donna (Joe) Arsenault, Maine. Also survived by Jamie (Elizabeth) Rice, Summerside. Loving grandfather of nine grandchildren. Brother of Gladys Wagner, Ellerslie; Verna (Lester) Milligan, Poplar Grove; Evelyn Ramsay, Oakland, Ont. Son-in-law of Blanche (Wallace) Hill, Maine. Predeceased by brother Edward, sisters Lillian Barrett, Enid Milligan and father-in-law Earle Hickey.
