The death occurred at the Prince Edward Home, Charlottetown, on Friday, September 5, 2014, of Glen “Glennie” Corkum, of Charlottetown, aged 56 years.
Born in Middleton, N.S., he was the son of Charles “Charlie” Corkum, Summerside, and the late Evelyn (Fearon) Corkum.
Survived by his brother, Blaine Corkum (Judy Delaney); sisters, Connie Hynes and Coreen (Steve) Auty; nieces, Sasha Corkum, Jessika Corkum-Gorrill, Lily Hynes and Cali Auty; and by nephews, Stefan Corkum and Ryan Auty. Predeceased by his stepmother, Gertrude (Myers-Trainer).
Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside. A private family graveside service will be held. No visiting hours by family request. Interment in People's Cemetery, Summerside.
