The family of Sabina Mallard (nee MacLeod) is mourning the loss, but celebrating the life of a loving wife, a nurturing and compassionate mother, a doting grandmother and a loyal friend and confidante to many.
Sabina passed away peacefully, on September 8, 2014, in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. She will be greatly missed by Clarence, her devoted and loving husband of 55 years, her sons, Russ (Christine) and Les (Susan) and daughter, Jane. Sabina was a significant part of the lives of her six grandchildren, Emily, Jonathan, Ellen, Anna, Matthew and Sarah and they will forever feel her love.
Funeral arrangements for Sabina are entrusted to the Belvedere Funeral Home, Charlottetown, P.E.I. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 10, 2014, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The funeral mass will be held Thursday, September 11, 2014, at 11 a.m. at St. Pius X Church in Charlottetown. Interment will take place in the Our Lady of Assumption Cemetery in Stratford, P.E.I., immediately following the funeral.
Family flowers only please. Donations may be made in Sabina’s memory to the P.E.I. Integrated Palliative Care Program or the P.E.I. Cancer Treatment Center at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
