GALLAGHER, GLADYS - Unexpectedly at home, September 6, 2014, Mrs. Gladys Louise Gallagher of Ortonville, daughter of the late Frank and Lydia (McLaughlin) Watson passed away at the age of 84. She was the wife of the late Wendell Sherman Gallagher. She is survived by her son Dwight, two sisters, Shirley Prescott of New Denmark and Ruth Hitchcock of Ortonville, sisters-in-law, Dorothy Gallagher of Undine and Glenna Carter of Arkansas, numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Mina Hitchcock, Gertrude Lawson, Leitha Campbell, Emily Lockhart and brothers, Leigh, Willard and infant brother, Jonathan, sister-in-law, Greta Gagnon and brother-in-law, Stewart Gallagher. She was a member of the Ortonville Baptist Church since 1946 and a life member of the Ortonville Women's Missionary Society. She enjoyed music, puzzles, knitting, family get togethers and reading about the Royal family.
Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Friday, September 12th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, September 13th from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Her funeral service will be held from the Ortonville Baptist Church on Saturday, September 13th at 2 p.m. with Pastor Charles Johnston officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Donations to the Ortonville Baptist Church General Fund would be appreciated by the family. www.oregans.ca
