We, the family of the late Katherine (Kay) Gillis, would like to express our sincerest thanks to family and friends who were there to comfort us on the recent loss of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Our thanks to each of you who brought food to our homes, sent expressions of sympathy, monetary gifts and generous donations in Ma’s memory. Thank you to Fr. Thomas John for the beautiful homily and to the choir of Holy Family Parish for the music. To our family members and friends who participated in the funeral mass and to the CWL for the beautiful reception, thank you. We would like to especially thank the management and staff of JM Jobes Funeral Home. Manning, Ian and Erika: your compassion, caring and understanding will always be remembered. You went above and beyond for our family and we will be forever grateful for your kindness. Ma was our rock who held our family close over the years; she treasured her children and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ma will be missed terribly but will remain in our hearts forever.
