GOULD, RAYMOND “BUTCH” - Raymond "Butch" Gould, 73, of Lakeville, passed away on Friday September 26, 2014 at the Moncton Hospital. Born on January 27, 1941 in Moncton, he was the son of the late Yvon “Ticki” and Edna (Gallant) Gould. Prior to his retirement, Butch retired from CN as a blacksmith and was the owner and operator of Butch’s Welding. He will be remembered as an amazing father and grandfather. He loved fishing, playing cards and spending time with his family. He will be sadly missed by his common-law-wife; Noëlla Boudreau and her two children: Danny and Dean; his four children: Cyndi Wiggins (Robert Jensen) of Ammon, Terry, Todd (Sandra Petitpas), both of Moncton, and Lisa Bailey (Brett) of New Glasgow, NS; his former wife, Marilyn Trites; four grandchildren: Jesse, Lauren, Cody and Jade; one sister, Barb Graham of Moncton; three brothers: Gerald (Jeannette) of Dieppe, Bernard (Louise) of Shediac, and Paul (Nancy), of Centreville, NS; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one sister, Dorothy, and one brother, Bobby.
The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude towards the nurses of the Moncton Hospital Palliative Care Unit for their special care provided to Butch.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church, 43 Botsford Street, Moncton on Tuesday September 30, 2014 at 11 am.
