CREW, DARLENE - 1949-2014 - It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beautiful mother, Darlene Crew of Hillsborough, on Friday, September 26, 2014 at The Moncton Hospital. Darlene was employed with the Hospitality Industry for over 20 years. While she found pleasure in selflessly giving to others, her true joy in life was time with her family, especially her four girls whom she treasured. She was very creative and kept busy with her love of crafts. In her spare time she would often be found scrapbooking, crocheting, or making cards for loved ones and close friends. She will forever be in the hearts of her daughters Tina-Marie (Chris) Elliott of Moncton, Tanya (Cameron) Crew-Roberts of Dartmouth, NS., Sharon (Ed) Tetz of Ottawa, ON., Rhonda (Duane) Crew of Ottawa, ON.; sister Heather Crossman of Hillsborough; brother Glendon Cook also of Hillsborough; grandchildren Matthew, Michael, Mandy, Dylan, Emily, Mackenzie, great-grandson Aedan, several nieces and nephews and the father of her four children Gerald Crew of Moncton.
A service celebrating Darlene’s life will take place from Cobb’s Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview (869-2007) on Monday, September 29, 2014 at 1:00pm with Rev. Jack Allen officiating. Donations made to The Friends of The Moncton Hospital Palliative Care Unit would be greatly appreciated by the family.
