December 31, 2008 The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital in Halifax on Wednesday, December 31, 2008, of Delmar Graham of Charlottetown and formerly of Thistle and Shamrock, age 83. Delmar was the husband of the late Sybil Graham (nee MacKay); loving father of Earl Graham, Summerside, and Brian (Susan) Graham, Charlottetown; and grandfather of Alexander Samuel Graham. He is survived by brothers, Jack (Gail), Ontario and Ward (Heather), Shamrock; sisters, Letitia MacDonald, Charlottetown, Helen Gillis, Charlottetown, Aletha (Harold) Larsen, Rose Valley, Flora Graham, Charlottetown and Ethel (Allan) Blatch, Nova Scotia; his brother-in-law, Earl MacKay; and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his wife, Sybil, Delmar was predeceased by his parents, Beecher and Eleanor; his brother, Robert (Geraldine); his brothers-in-law, Alexander J. MacDonald and Vernon Gillis; his sister-in-law, Pauline MacKay; and his nephew, Graham Gillis. Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Saturday, January 3, 2009, from 3:30-6:30 p.m. The funeral will be held at Central Queen’s Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, January 4, 2009, at 2 p.m. Interment in the Breadalbane People’s Cemetery.
