MacDONALD, LINDA J., RN - 1956 - 2014 - Miramichi - Linda Joyce (Tozer) MacDonald, R.N., wife of Richard (Rick) MacDonald, of St. Thomas St., Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Friday evening, September 26, 2014, at the age of 58. Born in Chatham on June 29, 1956, she was the daughter of Barbara (Lobban) Doucet and the late Percy Tozer. She was a retired R.N. and attended St. Andrews United Church, Miramichi. She is survived by her husband Rick MacDonald; her mother, Barbara Doucet, of Miramichi; two daughters, Jennifer L. Devereau (Greg), of Bathurst, Angela L. Allen (Shane), of Miramichi; one son, Bradley A. MacDonald (Kayla), of Moncton; three sisters, Nancy Fowlie (Ernest), of Miramichi, Diane Manuel (Romeo), of Baie Ste Anne, Karen Rose (Paul), of Miramichi; one brother, J. Robert Tozer (Margaret), of Miramichi; one sister in law, Paula Tozer, of Cardinal, Ont.; six grandchildren, Ben, Cameron, Chloe, Tory, Brendon, Madyson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother, Steven Tozer.
By her request there will be no visitation. The public are invited to attend a funeral service to be held from St. Andrews United Church, on Wednesday, October 1, 2014, at 2 pm, conducted by Rev. Charlene Maguire MacKnight. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Miramichi. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
