BOUCHER, IRÈNE - 1930 – 2014 - Irène Boucher, 84 of Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche and formerly of Bouctouche passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at the Manoir on Friday, September 26, 2014. She was married to the late Alfred Boucher (2003). Born in Bouctouche, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Marie (Cormier) Cormier.
She will be sadly missed by her six children; Anise Boucher, Simonne Bastarache (Paul) and Bernice LeBlanc (Guy) all of Bouctouche, Rose-Marie LeBlanc (Gilles) and Gilles (Pierrette) of Sainte-Marie de Kent and Claude (Lucille) of Cocagne, her six grandchildren; Stéphanie, Isabelle, Nathalie, Nadine, Parise and Jérémie as well as a great grandson, Brady. She also leaves to mourn one sister Ida Boucher (Raymond) and a brother Willie (Yvette) of Bouctouche, and several nephews and nieces. Irène was predeceased by one brother Yvon.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Monday, September 29th, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Tuesday from 12:30 to 1:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Tuesday, September 30th, at 2:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery.
