The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Saturday, September 27, 2014, of George Irving, of Summerside, aged 92 years.
Born in Harcourt, N.B., he was the son of the late Allan and Molly (Spencer) Irving. Veteran of the Second World War. Survived by his wife of 67 years, Marion (McAssey) Irving, and by numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family. Predeceased by his four brothers and two sisters.
Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. Interment in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside. No visiting hours by request.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society or the Summerside Presbyterian Church would be appreciated.
