POIRIER, CATHERINE - Catherine Poirier, 1912 to 2014, our Mom, passed away peacefully September 28th at Foyer Bois Joli, St. Louis de Kent. Daughter of Germain and Marie-Jeanne Mazerolle of Pointe-Sapin, NB. Married to late Bruno Poirier. Mother of 16 children, Ida Tait (Tom), Aline Richard, Gerald, Lauriel, Verna, Roland (Jacinthe), Rolande Ross (Dale), Ronald (Mary), Jeanne (Dwight), Wilfred (Noelle), Gabriel (Virgine), Annette (Leo-Paul), late Albertin (Noreen), Alphonse (Irma), Louis, Albin. Survived by 43 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. One brother Germain Mazerolle (son petit frere), many relatives and friends. Our mother was and will always be our strength and spiritual angel and the model of family values.
Funeral arrangements are in the the care of La Colombe and will be will be at Soeur Blondine Martin, Eglise Ste-Anne of Baie-Ste-Anne, NB. Viewing will be Tuesday, September 30 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, Wednesday, October 1, from 2pm to 4pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Thursday, October 2 from 9:30 am until Funeral Services at 11:00 am. Reception to follow at Baie-Ste-Anne Community Centre. Special thanks the Foyer Bois Joli Staff of Saint-Louis where our Mom was at home for the last several years of her life.
