RICHARDSON, KEITH ROY - 1943 – 2014 - Keith Richardson passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, October 3, 2014. Born in Horsforth, England, he was the only son of the late Albert and Emma (Ward) Richardson. Keith immigrated originally to Charlottetown in 1967, moving to Riverview in 1973 where he began building his own business as an insurance broker - Keith Richardson Insurance. He enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandchildren, a drive to Alma in the old car, happy hour banter with the boys at the Elks or Air Force Veterans Club, a good five drink steak, a good book, a little hunting or fishing and wintering in Florida with Rita. Keith will be sadly missed by his partner of many years, Rita Leger, his children, Lisa Fraser (Brent) of Riverview, Martin Richardson (Yolande) of Moncton, Kevin Richardson (Christine) of Middle Sackville, NS and Colin Richardson (Becky) of Dartmouth, NS as well as their mother, Rae; grandchildren, Cole, Rylee, Reese, Keaton, Leodis, Ellie and Rita's children, Shelly Johnson (Brian), Tracy Thibodeau (Roger), Carl Leger and her grandson Justin and also a sister, Josette Gilbank (Bernard) of Charlottetown, PEI.
Sharing of Memories for Keith will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
