Passed peacefully away, surrounded by her loving family, at Kenny's Pond Retirement Residence on Friday, October 3, 2014, Ena Joan Baker (nee Peddle) in her 89th year. Predeceased by her husband Joseph Baker; daughter Judy (Rowe); sisters: Ada and Alma; great grandson baby Nicholas. Leaving to mourn her five children: Don (Lee), Cynthia (Ian Garland), Harold (Betty), Karl (Joan) and Keith (Denise); sisters: Sylvia (Herb Abbott) and Sandra (Barry Braybrook, deceased); son-in-law Bill Rowe (Gerri); thirteen grandchildren: Paula (Andrew Smith), Janet (Cory Williams), Robert (Nancy), Jeffrey (Crystal), Laura (Joel Groulx), Christopher (Crista), special grandson Andrew, Cory, Matthew, Alicia, Zachary, Denis, and Kenneth; as well as eleven great grandchildren; also many other relatives and friends. Thank you to the staff at Kenny's Pond Retirement Residence for all the care and kindness given to Mom during the years she resided there. As well special thank you to Dr. O'Shea. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Sunday and Monday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service to be held from Barrett's Chapel on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at 11:00 am with cremation to follow the service. A reception will be held in Barrett's Reception Center following the Chapel Service.
