(August 8, 1928 - October 5, 2014) Francis, Bessie, (Soper); Passed peacefully away at Winterholme Manor, Winterton on Sunday, Bessie Francis(Soper) of Hant's Harbour aged 96 years. Predeceased by husbands Charles Soper (1961) and Freeman Francis (1997), parents Willis and Anne Piercey, brothers Peter and Walter Piercey, sister Lillian Blanche Piercey, sister in law Elsie Piercey and brother in law George Noseworthy. Leaving to mourn sister Dorothy Noseworthy (St. John's), nieces, nephews as will as a large circle of friends as well as the residents and staff of Winterholme Manor. Resting at Green's Funeral Home, Winterton. Visiting hours Tuesday and Wednesday 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Thursday 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Winterton. Interment to follow in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Hant's Harbour. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations may be made in her memory to the Salvation Army Lower Trinity Corps.
