The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Sunday, October 5, 2014, of June Cecilia Peterson, of Summerside and formerly of New Glasgow, NS, aged 83 years. Born in New Glasgow, she was the daughter of the late Bernard "Brick" and Margaret (Rose) MacLean. Survived by her son Patrick (Nicole); daughter-in-law Doreen; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; by a sister Margaret; and three MacLean nephews John, Laurie and Steven. Predeceased by her husband William; daughter Joanne Myers; son William; grandson Kyle; and by a brother Jack "Red" MacLean. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside. Funeral mass will be held at a later date at Our Lady of Lourdes, Stellarton, NS. Interment will take place in Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Cemetery, Stellarton, NS. No visiting hours by personal request.
