BILLINGS, TERRENCE "TERRY" WAYNE - The death of Terry Billings occurred peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on October 6, 2014. He was born in Fredericton, NB, on August 1, 1942. After graduating high school, Terry started to work for his father at the family plumbing and heating business. He purchased the business and remained self-employed until 2000. He volunteered for many years at the Mechanical Contractors Association of Canada and also served as president. He enjoyed his camp at Crabbe Mountain as well as hunting, fishing and hockey. He spent many hours enjoying his family and grandchildren. Survived by his wife of 50 years, Louise Billings of Fredericton, NB; sons, Chris (Kim) of Douglas, NB and Greg of Fredericton, NB; daughter, Mary-Jane (Mark) of New Minas, NS; grandchildren, Amanda, Jennie, Noah, Jacob, Isaac, Brook, Jillian, Sara, Ryan and Owen; great-grandchild, Lucas; brother, Leonard of Fall River, NS; and sister, Sandra (Noel) Clark of Pembroke, ON. Terry was predeceased by his parents, Edison and Jennie Billings and sister, Sheila.
Visitation will be held at McAdam’s Funeral Home on Thursday, October 9, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral will be held at Brunswick Street Baptist Church on Friday, October 10, 2014 at 11:00 am with Rev. Greg Geldart officiating.
