Passed peacefully away following a brief illness, while in the presence of his loving family, at the Health Science Complex, on Monday, October 6, John Cahill of Point La Haye, S.M.B., aged 82 years. Predeceased by parents Frank & Elizabeth (nee Bishop) and sisters Josephine Fagan and Uriel Fagan. Leaving to mourn with fond memories his wife Catherine (nee Yetman), Son Anthony (Linda); grandchildren: Jessica, Jennifer and Ashley (Russell), great-grandchild Alana; brothers: Patrick (Anita), Adrian (Anne), Frank (Geraldine) and Mike (Madeline), sisters Betty (Lawrence) Butler and Margaret (Hilary) Gibbons and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at Gibbons' Funeral Home, St. Mary's, on Wednesday, October 8, from 7 - 9pm and Thursday, October 9, 1 - 4pm; 7 - 9pm.
