Passed peacefully away on October 6, 2014 with his family by his side, Gordon Wilbert Strange age 90 years. Left to mourn, his loving wife of 56 years, Lyla (Thorne), Son Lew Strange (Roxana) and daughter Wanda Furlong (Lou). Grandchildren, Krysta Squires, Julia Furlong and Evan Strange. Great grandchildren Tristan and Keira Squires. Two sons, Arthur Katz, New York and Richard Katz (Sue) Missouri, from a previous Marriage. A large circle of family and friends. Gordon was a lifelong employee of The College of Trades and Technology (CONA). A special thank you to the Nurses and Staff at the Hoyles Escasoni for their support and compassionate care. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2014 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral service will be held Thursday evening in the Visiting room at 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Nicholas Church Building Fund, Torbay, great fully appreciated.
