It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Violet Chafe, on Tuesday, October 7, 2014. Leaving to mourn are her husband Robert; children: Brenda and her husband Ron Crummell, Bob and his wife Sylvia, Sean and his wife Raquel, and Scott; grandchildren: Ashley and her husband Chris Howard, and Jason; her two sisters: Phyllis Ryan (Bill Ryan, deceased), and Ruth Pond and her husband Reg; as well as many other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Thursday, October 9, from 11am-4pm & 6pm-9pm. Funeral service will take place from Barrett's Funeral Chapel on Friday, October 10, 2014, at 11:00am, with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
