Passed away after a long struggle with cancer on March 19, 2008 at the Palliative Care Unit at the Miller Centre, St. John's, Reginald Power, age 53 years of Paradise, NL, originally of Branch, SMB; also a former resident of Labrador City. Predeceased by his parents, John and Aggie Power; and his father-in-law Stephen Connors. He leaves to mourn his wife Florence; his daughter Trina (Lawrence Neyando and Colton), Inuvik; and his son Scott (Angela Bourgeois), Halifax; his brothers: Aiden (Sandra), Branch and Terry (Bev), Labrador City; his sisters: Marina Gambin (Pat), Placentia, Jean Philpott (Dominic), Plate Cove East, Cathy Brake (Rube), Marystown and Noreen Careen (Albert), Labrador City; his mother-in-law Rita Connors, Beachside Manor, Placentia; his sisters-in-law: Linda Greene (Clarence), Point Verde, Leona Lake (Dan), St. John's, Jeanette Coombs (Frank), Freshwater and Jackie Allen (Sheldon), St. John's; brothers-in-law: Derek Connors (Kim), Grand Prairie and Clarence Culleton (Betty), Wabush; his two very special boys: Jesse and Joshua Roache at Labrador City; his Aunt Agnes Tarrant in Oakville, ON; also a large circle of nieces, nephews and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and friends from Newfoundland to British Columbia and the U.S. Cremation has taken place. No flowers by request. Donations in his memory can be made to the Daffodil House.
