The death occurred peacefully at the Riverview Manor, Montague, on Sunday January 4, 2009, of Theresa MacKey, formerly of Greenmount, age 80 years. She was born in Greenmount August 22, 1928, the daughter of the late Alfred and Mary (MacMillan) MacKey. Dear sister to Jim (Hazel) MacKey, Greenmount; Bernice (Linus) Conway, Bonshaw; Roy (Millie) MacKey, Brampton, Ont.; Leigh (Judy) MacKey, Missassauga, Ont.; Claude MacKey, Rollie (Joanne) MacKey, both of Greenmount; Beverley (Carl) Ellsworth, Palmer Road; and Donna (Les) Zaba, Kensington. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Marjorie MacKey-McInnis and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Alfred and Mary; brothers, Lloyd and Ben; sisters, Adeline and Mary. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, Palmer Road, where funeral mass will be held Wednesday at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road, at 2 p.m. No visitation as a personal request. Interment to take place at a later date.
