Mary E. Macdonald, 89, formerly of Crescent Street, Sydney, passed away Oct. 14, 2014 at the New Waterford Hospital.
Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Elsie (Sangster) Macdonald.
Mary was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Fr. Sangster Macdonald and Robert Macdonald and sisters, Thora and Anna in infancy.
Left behind is her sister-in-law, Maisie Macdonald, Truro; niece, Maureen (Wayne) MacLean, Truro and nephew, Robert (Patricia) Macdonald, Sydney.
There will be no visitation. A funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 20 at T.W. Curry Parkview Chapel with Rev. Bill Burke officiating. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Sydney.
