MOORE, EARLE - With sadness the family announces the passing of Earle Moore, loving husband of 65 years to Nerea (Foster) Moore, which occurred unexpectedly on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at his residence, at the age of 90 years. Born 1924 in Gardner Creek, NB, he was the son of the late Robert W. and Lillian (Wallace) Moore. In addition to his wife Nerea, he is survived by his son Brian (Kathleen) Moore of Gardner Creek; brother Hazen (Margie) Moore also of Gardner Creek; grandchildren Susan (Brian) Train and Robert (Krista) Moore; four great-grandchildren; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother Wesley Moore and a sister Ruth Moore. Earle retired from SMT where he was employed as an Assistant General Manager. He was then employed as a salesman for Downey Motors. Earle was a 60 year member of the Masonic Lodge serving as Chaplain and Grand Master. He attended Grace Presbyterian Church, was a member of St. Thomas Anglican Church and Seaview Community Club.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road Saint John (646-2424) on Monday, October 20, 2014 from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral service will take place at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at 1 p.m. followed by a reception at the funeral home. Interment will take place in St. Thomas Anglican Cemetery, Black River.
