Passed away peacefully at Dr. Charles L. Legrow Health Center on Tuesday, October 21 at the age of 75 years. Born in Grand Bay, Ruth was the daughter of the late Ernest and Annie Kettle. Besides her Husband Fred she was predeceased by her Parents In Law Isaac and Esther Lomond; Sisters Blanche, Mildred, Mary, Greta and Brothers Wesley and Max. Ruth will be ever remembered and loved by her Children Jeff (Janice), Joy (Brad) Gillam of Port aux Basques; Grandchildren Chad, Jenna, Tom, Nicole and Caitlin; Sisters Phyllis (Bud) Hopkins, Sandra (Albert) Kettle, Joan (Roy) Richards, Edith (Ron) March, Cedella Fraser, Eileen (Ed) Hill, Verena Kettle; Brother Nelson; Sisters In Law Evelyn Osmond, Elsie (Reg) Taylor, Gladys (Albert) Seymour, Melinda Lomond, Rosanna Lomond; Brothers In Law Robert (Margaret) Lomond, Garfield (Sandra) Lomond, Eneas (Linda) Lomond, along with a large circle of Nieces, Nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation took place on Wednesday and Thursday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 P.M. at East Haven Funeral Home Inc. Funeral services took place on Friday, October 24 at 11 A.M. from St. Paul's Anglican church, Grand Bay officiated by Rev. Stephen Maki, followed by interment in St. Paul's Parish Cemetery, Trans Canada Highway. Memorial Donations can be made to a charity of ones choice.
