GALLANT, JEAN-MARIE - Jean-Marie Gallant of Villa du Repos passed away at his residence on Friday, October 24, 2014 at the age of 67. Born on January 10, 1947 in Kedgwick, he was the son of the late André Gallant and the late Rose Dubé. He worked as a professor for the Dorchester Penitentiary and the Community College of Dieppe. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus 4th degree in Calgary. He will be sadly missed by his wife Murielle; his children, Natasha (Brian) Belliveau and Alexandre Gallant of Calgary; two grandchildren: Mélissa and Jérémie; his brothers and sisters; Roland (Majella) of Kedgwick, Jean-Paul (Julienne) of Val D’Amour, Géraldine (Armand) of Ste-Martine, PQ, Marie-Paule (François) of St-Quentin, Camil (Doris) and Gilles (Anne) both of Kedgwick, Ghislaine (Claude) of St-Jérome, PQ, Francine of Kedgwick, Mariella (Lucien) of St-Quentin, Marius (Julie) of Kedgwick, Claudette (Allain) of Repentigny, PQ, Fernando (Faith) of Ottawa, Réjean (Caroline) of St-Georges de Beauce, PQ and Maurice (Chantale) of St-Quentin and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Gérard.
Visitation will be held at the Dupuis Funeral Home in Memramcook on Tuesday, October 28 from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral mass will be held at the Saint-Anselme Church in Dieppe on Wednesday, October 29 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery. www.dupuisfuneralhome.ca
