The family of the late Vanessa Nancy Brown would like to extend their deepest appreciation for the love, kindness, compassion and support shown to them after the passing of their precious daughter, sister and friend to all. Please know that all the hugs and countless prayers will forever be remembered.

A special thank you to Reverend Terry Rose who cut his vacation short to return to officiate at the service. Thank you to Nora Shears who assisted Rev. Rose. A special thank you to Stephanie Payne for the beautiful solo, “Where Roses Never Fade.” A special thank you to the readers, the pallbearers (friends and hockey teammates), all the hockey players and the members of Gros Morne National Park who attended.

Finally to the hundreds of you who travelled from near and far to visit us and attend the service to honor and pay tribute to our daughter and sister, Vanessa, we thank you sincerely.
