In memory of our dear son, brother, uncle, brother-in-law and father, we express our heartfelt thanks to all who supported us during our bereavement following Ronnie’s passing in July. The expressions of sympathy were many and were gratefully received.
Sincere thanks and appreciation are in particular directed to all those who attended Ronnie’s Mass of Remembrance on August 28th at St. Mary’s Parish Church, East Bay, to piper,Janette Gillis, and the other musicians, Donnie Campbell, Bernard Paruch and Bradley Reid (Ronnie would have been so pleased with the great sound),to the altar servers, eucharistic ministers, ushers and those who served as honorary pallbearers, all of whom contributed to making the celebration of the Mass such a memorable and touching occasion, to all those who attended the reception at the East Bay firehall, who phoned, sent cards, mass and memorial cards, food, especially to Mom and the significant support provided in so many different and unique ways from all the cousins, aunts and uncles, extended family members and friends. All will not soon be forgotten. The East Bay community provided steadfast support to the family over the course of Ronnie’s illness. It was appreciated and truly reflected in the contribution of the East Bay Volunteer Fire Department in making the firehall available and at the well attended reception so warmly received and efficiently catered to by St. Mary’s Parish CWL. We acknowledge and thank you all for your contribution. We acknowledge as well the prayerful support and expressions of concern for Ronnie over the years by members of St. Anthony Daniel Parish and its CWL. Thank you. Father Frank Abbass celebrated the Mass of Remembrance assisted by family relative Father Fred Morley. We thank both for the touching service. We as well acknowledge how Fr. Abbass, as Pastor, before, during and after the liturgy made everyone feel welcome and at home. We are confident Ronnie has followed the “light” and he too is now safely home. Thank you all.
