CHRISTENSEN, PETER - At Hotel-Dieu of Saint Joseph Hospital, Perth-Andover, October 29, 2014, Mr. Peter Christensen of New Denmark passed away at the age of 78 years. He was the husband of Pauline (Dionne) Christensen. Born at New Denmark in 1936, he was a son of the late Richard and Mary (Hathaway) Christensen. He is survived by his wife, three sons, Richard (Kathy) of Aroostook, Robert (Pauline) of Drummond and Charles (Nicole) of Quispamsis, daughter, Mary Beth (Darren Butler) of New Denmark, one sister, Ramona Dunster of Burton, brother-in-law, Richard Dionne (Madelyne) of Gander, NL, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents and one granddaughter, Emily Louise Christensen.
Resting at St. Ansgar's Anglican Church, New Denmark with visiting hours Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. His funeral service will be held Saturday, November 1st at 11 a.m. from St. Ansgar's Anglican Church with Rev. Keith Howlett and Pastor Ralph Weigold officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
