POWER, Tim – Born Marystown, Placentia Bay, June 8, 1917, passed away at the Caribou Memorial Veterans Pavilion on January 5, 2009. Tim Power, WWII Veteran, 59th (Nfld.) Heavy Regiment, Royal Artillery. Predeceased by his wife Julia, 2000, brother Pat and sister Marion Ryan. Leaving to mourn his son Father Pat Power, as well as many nieces and nephews, and a wide circle of family and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Tuesday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 12 noon - 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, January 8, 2009 at 11 a.m. from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to your Parish or your favourite charity.
