ROWE, Sarah Jane – September 28, 1920 - January 6, 2009. Passed peacefully away at the Lion's Manor Nursing Home, Placentia, on Tuesday, January 6th, 2009, Sarah Jane Rowe of Chance Cove, aged 88 years. Predeceased by her husband, Noah Rowe and daughter Millie. Leaving to mourn with precious memories are her children; Albert (Alfreda), Robert (Vera), Elsie (Levi) Temple, Cecil (Glenys), Carl (Elsie), Baxter, Lykie (Lillian), Angie (Brian), Lillian (Randy) and Gary (Debbie); as well as thirty four grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren and one great-great- grandchild, and her son- in-law, George Thorne. She is also lovingly remembered by her three sisters, Myrtle, Martha and Violet (Bob) Piercey, as well as a number of nephews, nieces other relatives and friends. Resting at the Salvation Army Citadel, Chance Cove from Wednesday, January 7th until time of funeral. The funeral service will be held from the Salvation Army Citadel in Chance Cove on Friday, January 9th at 2 pm. Interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery.
