SKEHEN, John Patrick (July 18, 1935 - January 2, 2009) – It is with great sadness that the family of John Skehen announce his passing on January 2, 2009, at Moncton, NB hospital at the age of 73 years. Predeceased by parents John and Mary Skehen (nee Delaney), brother Patrick. Leaving to mourn sisters: Ann-Marie (Duncan) Mugford, Margaret (Simon) O’Brien, Joan Skehen, Mary Ginn, Irene Skehen; brothers Bernard (Susan), William (Margaret), Alphonsus (Frances); and a large number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Moore’s Funeral Home, Clarke’s Beach. Visitation Tuesday 3-5 p.m., 7-9 p.m., Wednesday 10-12 noon, 2-5 p.m., 7-9 p.m., Thursday, 10-12 Noon. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, January 8, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. from All Hallows R.C. Church, North River. Cremation to follow. Inurnment at a later date.
