Of Fox Harbour, Placentia Bay, passed peacefully away on November 2, 2014, in her home, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 87. Predeceased by her beloved husband Vincent, sons Peter, Michael Patrick and infant son, her parents Mary and Peter Healey and her brother Michael. Leaving to mourn with warm and loving memories, her children: Vince (Marina Sexton), Terry McLevey (Anthony), Mercedes Aquilina (Alf), Mary Mandville (Leonard), Anna Powell, Jamie (Kathy Small), Joe, Aggie (Paul Dingle), and Steven. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren: Julianna and Mollie McCarthy; John (Allyson), Teresa Abbott (Grant), Mary, and Kat McLevey; Chris and Ben (Christina) Mercer, Vincent and Dominic Aquilina; Matthew, Ian, David (Carmella) and Tessa Mandville; Maria, Joshua and Allison Powell; Andrew and Kaitlyn McCarthy; Michael, Jeremy and Mark McCarthy; Liam and Emma Dingle; and treasured great grandchildren Cole and Samantha Mercer. Also remembered lovingly by her siblings: Madonna McCarthy, Frank (Ethel) Healey, Adrian (Teresa) Healey, Tony (Maureen) Healey, and Betty Carroll, special nieces and nephews Anne (Ernie), John (Nancy) and Marie (Bill). Remembered by many other close relatives and friends, in particular lifelong friends Fintan and Ann Aylward. Special thanks to St. Pius X Parish for fellowship over many years, especially to the CWL, Fr. Wayne Bolton SJ, Father Joe Schuck SJ, and Fr. William Browne SJ. Heartfelt thanks to Teresa's long term care givers: Phyllis, Judy, Martha and Karen. Teresa dedicated her life to her family, and faced adversity with courage, grace and dignity. Her deep spirituality and faith sustained her throughout her life and inspired all around her. She enriched our lives with her beautiful smile, love of music, sense of humour, unfailing support and loving kindness. She will be greatly missed, but we take comfort knowing she is at peace and reunited with her loving husband and sons. Visitation to take place at Caul's Funeral Home LeMarchant Road on Monday November 3rd from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Tuesday November 4th from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place from St. Pius X Parish on Wednesday November 5th, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Holy Childhood Association or a charity of one's choice.
