daSILVA, Beverly Cheryl – age 69, Yarmouth and formerly of Woods Harbour, Shelburne Co., passed away on Friday, October 31, 2014 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born September 20, 1945 in Woods Harbour, she was raised by her grand parents, James and Mae Garron. Beverly is survived by her mother, Junaita (daSilva) Garron, Toronto; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncle and cousins. She was predeceased by her father, James Garron. Beverly will also be sadly missed by her long-time best friend, Jim McCrae of Calgary, as well as by her friend, Brenda Smith of Brooklyn, Yarmouth County, along with many other friends. There was no visitation. A memorial service was held at H. M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington on Monday, November 3, at 3:30 p.m., Father Doug Chard officiated. Interment followed in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Woods Harbour. Memorial donations may be made to the Yarmouth SPCA or to a charity of one’s choice.
