Flora Juanita (Knott) Noel passed peacefully away in Port Hope, ON, on November 1st, 2014, aged 87. Predeceased by her husband Urbane from St. John's, mother Irene (Brazill) Knott and father George Knott and brother Roland, all from Channel-PAB, sister and brother-in-law, Mildred Vivian Brazill (Knott) Evans and Berkley Evans of North Sydney, NS. Left to give thanks for her life is her daughter Cynthia (Shirley) of Port Hope, Ontario and son Roy (Helena) of Surrey BC, sister Norma Abigail (Knott) Keeping of Virginia Beach, USA, special niece Arlene Daniels of Richmond Virginia USA, sister-in-law Eileen (Noel) Vey of Mount Pearl and many nieces and nephews, relatives and very special friends. Flora was a Past President and Life Member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 36 in Mount Pearl, Past Regent and Past President of the Shanawdithit and Past President of Sir Wilfred Grenfell Chapters of the IODE. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home on Hamilton Avenue on Wednesday: 7 to 9, Thursday: 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral service at The Anglican Cathedral on Friday, November 7th at 2:00 pm with burial at the Field of Honour, Mount Pleasant Cemetery, James Lane, St. John's, NL.
