"Rex" passed peacefully away at The Delta View Enrichment Center, Delta, BC on Monday, November 3, 2014, Rex Cullmore age 95 years. Predeceased by his wife Vera (nee Halliday); brother Leslie (Ethel); sister Hazel Cochrane (Jack); brothers-in-law Ray Lawton and Gordon Halliday. Leaving to mourn with fond memories are his dedicated and loving daughters: Elizabeth Barrett (Dave), Lois Burke (Pat), North Delta, BC, and Janet Dewar (John), North Delta, BC; six grandchildren: Robert (Sherry) Barrett, Colin (Susan) Barrett, Michael (Andrea) Burke, Matthew (Jenni) Burke, Dr. Kathryn Dewar and Adam (Mallory) Dewar; six precious great grandchildren: Matthew and Tyler Barrett, Simone and Giselle Burke, Callie Barrett and Laurel Burke; sisters-in-law Catherine Halliday and Shirley Lawton; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue from 7-9pm Thursday and then from 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Friday. Funeral service to be held from Barrett's Chapel, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
