The family of the late Thomas Lyons wish to express our thanks and gratitude to the many people, who shared in our recent loss. Thank you all who visited, called, sent flowers, cards, food, monetary gifts and travelled to be with us. Our sincerest thanks and gratitude to Rev. Allan MacLellan for his kind words, organist Nancy MacLellan and St. Paul’s choir for rendering Thomas favorite hymns. To the New Waterford Homemakers, V.O.N., ICU Regional Hospital and 3rd floor Glace Bay Hospital, many thanks. To Dr. K. Cadegan and Brenda, a heartfelt thanks for the care of Tom over the years. The compassion and support from E.H.S. and Regional Police during the initial time of Thomas passing was greatly appreciated. We offer our sincere appreciation to Michelle and Angus of Patten Funeral Home for your kindness and professionalism. To Linda Jewells and Carol MacLean for taking care of the reception following the service. A thank you is also extended to the pallbearers (relatives and friends of Thomas) Kevin and John Nearing, Jennifer and Tommy Lyons, Andy MacDonald and Grant MacLean. To each and every one, your thoughtfulness and support will always be remembered.
