PINSENT, Donald – Passed peacefully away at Lakeside Homes, Gander, January 6th, 2009, Donald Pinsent, age 88. Predeceased by his wife Minnie Juanita (West), brothers Jack and Cyril. Left with loving memories are son William of Ladle Cove; daughter Eleanor (George) Leslie of St. John’s; sister Ruby (Hedley) Wareham of Deer Lake; grandchildren: Robert, Jayson, Kristan, Kenneth and great-grandchildren Kalista and Aidain, as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. Mr. Pinsent was a retired public servant, active in Elks, Kiwanis, St. James United Church, Canadian Cancer Society and Meals On Wheels. Resting at St. Stephan’s United Church, Ladle Cove, Friday 10 a.m. - 12 Noon. Funeral service Friday, January 9th, 2009 at 2 p.m. from St. Stephan’s United Church, Ladle Cove.
