The death occurred at her residence, Regina House, Corran Ban, on Wednesday, January 7, 2009, of Sister Rose Marie O’Hanley (Sister Mary Alexander) Sister of the Congregation of St. Mary, age 79 years. She was the daughter of the late Alexander and Mary (MacIsaac) O’Hanley. Sister Rose is lovingly remembered by her sister, Stashie (Francis) MacAdam and brother, Billy (Jean) O\'Hanley of Morell; sister, Leah O’Hanley and sister-in-law, Gisele O\'Hanley of Charlottetown. Sister Rose will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Dr. Hubert, Joseph and Jerry O’Hanley. Transferred from the Hennessey Funeral Home to the parlor of Mount St. Mary’s for visitation Friday, January 9, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated from the Chapel of Mount St. Mary’s Saturday, January 10, at 10 a.m. Interment will take place later in Mount St. Mary’s Congregation Cemetery.
